Apollo - Titanium Damascus
The Apollo is a 14500 sized EDC flashlight designed by Charles Wiggins and produced in Texas by Tactile Turn. It features the new Quantum Chimera driver recently announced by CWF, with a non-programmable, three mode firmware. Measuring 3.6" in overall length, and .740" in diameter, the Apollo is almost a 1/2" shorter than comparable lights on the market, with a max output of 520 lumens. The Nichia 219C LED is powered by a 14500 lithium-ion battery, and changes between three output levels with a half-click of the tail switch.
This exotic variant of the Apollo features a body that has been machined smooth from a solid bar of Titanium Damascus before being polished and flame treated. Despite the appearance, the clip is actually a normal titanium clip with a unique "fauxmascus" finish created by a combination of anodizing and laser engraving to compliment the pattern and coloring of the damascus.
