Waterproof and tear-proof, this paper will survive the rough and tumble of your journeys. It's eco-friendly, composed of polypropylene instead of paper (no trees!) and 100% recyclable. The subtly glossy pages are printed with a gray dot grid. The covers, also glossy, feature topographic images of Antarctica. The covers and the Yupo paper inside are acid-free. Note that since the paper is nonporous and does not absorb ink like conventional paper, gel ink, roller ball, and fountain pen inks will smudge. However, ballpoint pens, pencils, and permanent markers work great and there is no bleed-through.
